Photo Gallery | Sac Wedding Pros Celebrate Leaders and Survivors

Cheers and tears were in abundance Tuesday night as wedding professionals bestowed honors and awards upon members of the Sacramento Association for Wedding Professionals, Int'l. at the Depot Park Conference Center.  A social evening led to the excitement of finding out who won awards and the inspiration of one Sacramento professional who beat the odds by staying in business despite extreme challenges.

The theme was “Guys & Dolls” and was evident as the guests arrived and throughout the event.  A vintage car was staged out side to serve as a prop for photos.  A walking serving table offered desserts to guests as they arrived.  And the guests, themselves –  flappers and dames, gangsters and molls, and sheiks and shebas – appeared to have stepped out of the roaring 20s. 

More than 15 awards were presented, a new logo was unveiled and the members were inspired and motivated.
