National Letter of Intent signing reception for local baseball players

Each year, the EDH Vipers Baseball Club hosts a reception to honor all of the Sacramento region’s high school seniors who are signing their National Letter of Intent.  This year’s reception and signing ceremony was held on Thursday the 15th at 6:30 PM at the Croatian American Cultural Center, located at 3730 Auburn Blvd, right across from Harry Renfree Field and about ½ mile east of Watt Avenue.

 

This year, the following student athletes will be honored:

Family Fun -- Ice Skate in Historic Folsom!

Historic Folsom's ice skating rink is now open!  Enjoy a unique opportunity to skate around Folsom's historic railroad turntable on picturesque Sutter Street.  The rink is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily through the holiday season.  Free parking is available in the adjacent parking structure.

A grand opening celebration is scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10.  Folsom Historic District Association merchants will host a Holiday Open House in conjunction with the ice skating rink's official opening festivities.
