A lawsuit filed earlier this year by former El Dorado Hills Community Service District General Manager John Skeel has been settled.

Skeel was placed on paid leave just months after being hired.

Rep. Tom McClintock is running once again for the 4th Congressional District and said the economy should be top priority.

“The overriding issue facing our country is the economy and the damage that excessive spending is doing, not only to our prosperity, but to our security as our nation,” McClintock said in a recent phone interview. “Countries that bankrupt themselves aren’t around very long. Our country is at a crossroads right now.”
