ID=23128193A wanted felon was arrested Sunday after leading El Dorado County deputies on a chase that ended in Placerville, according to the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office.

Abram Sassenberg was booked into the El Dorado County Jail in Placerville for multiple charges including evading police, possession of ammunition and possession of methamphetamine.

The chase began when a deputy spotted Sassenberg driving a vehicle in Pollock Pines. Sassenberg had an active felony warrant out for his arrest, and was also driving with a suspended driver's license, according to the sheriff's office.

After he refused to stop, he led deputies on a chase that ended in Placerville. Deputies were able to stop Sassenberg after they used two sets of spike strips to stop his vehicle.

After he was stopped, deputies found ammo, methamphetamine and a meth pipe in the vehicle.
