World’s Most Successful Irish Dance Show in Folsom for Five Performances

Generations of audiences - more than 60 million people from 68 countries - have seen Lord of the Dance created by Michael Flatley, the world’s highest grossing Irish dance show. Presented by MagicSpace Entertainment and Global Entertainment Group, Lord of the Dance returns to visit 54 cities in North America, having kicked off its tour January 29, 2013 in Kingston, ON, Canada. Creator and Artistic Director Michael Flatley, who added fresh costumes, a visually stimulating set featuring an LED wall and revised lighting and set designs this year, still oversees all aspects of the production.

“We welcome this classic show to Three Stages,” notes Three Stages Executive Director Dave Pier. “It is, indeed, a ‘showpiece extravaganza’.”

The Russian National Ballet Theatre offers a classic Sleeping Beauty

The beloved fairy tale comes to life at Three Stages

Under the artistic direction of the legendary Elena Radchenko, a principal dancer with the Bolshoi Ballet, the Russian National Ballet Theatre brings The Sleeping Beauty to Three Stages.  Founded during Perestroika, the company is today its own institution comprised of exquisite dancers of singular instruction and vast experience. “The Russian National Ballet Theatre, directed by Elena Radchenko, is a cut above many of its rivals” (Washington Post). The performance is sponsored by Capital Public Radio.

“Since opening in 2011, Three Stages has brought a number of strong Russian companies to the capital region,” notes Executive Director Dave Pier. “The Sleeping Beauty will be elegantly performed and lovely to see.”
